How To Achieve Lower PPC Rate

Better Google Rankings

Pay per click advertising can cost you a fortune. If there would be an online genie, million advertisers would be wishing for lower pay per click rates. But there will never be a genie so you have to find your own ways of getting cheaper PPC rates.

PPC rate could be higher than you expect it to be – especially with popular keywords and search terms. Why do the rates boom so high? One of the reasons why keywords are sometimes so expensive in Yahoo and Google is that both merchants and “big” competitors bid on the same keywords.

Imagine a medium sized business advertising on top keywords; it would be competing bids with online business tycoons. Naturally, the bids would soar so high. Is this still a good idea? So how do actually get cheaper rates in PPC advertising?

Off To A Cheaper PPC Rate

One good way to get cheaper PPC rate is to advertise on the second-tier search engines. Google and Yahoo are big names in Pay Per Click and because of this, its bids are naturally higher compared to second tier search engines.

While these second-tier search engines won’t be able to give as much traffic as what Google and Yahoo can give you, at least their rates are a lot cheaper. This means you will get higher return on investment for every conversion your website receives.

Another advantage of these minor search engines is that they can actually address your niche market. There are search engines that specialize in your niche market. Advertising on specific niche search engines will deliver the most targeted site traffic to your website. This will give your website a higher possibility of getting more conversions.

Second Tier Search Engines

The major search engines are Yahoo and Google, but they are not the only search engines. There are other venues where you can advertise without paying so much. The second-tier search engines will still give you the benefit of online advertising as long as you find the most related or niche search engine pertaining to your products and services.

However, do not expect for loads of traffic from these second-tier engines. Of course, they won’t give you as much traffic as Google can give you. But they can give you value for your money – and what is important is that they will give you higher conversion rate and better online sales.
