Internet Marketing Advice

To ensure a successful web design project, you must have the proper knowledge and skills to take on the job. The internet has loads of information pertaining to web design, how to effectively design a website, web design tips, etc. There could be so much information that in the end, things become so overwhelming.

Among the many tips that web designers and site owners can get from the web, there is one that is deemed so important: content is king. There is no doubt content is the key to make a website survive. Both the search engines and the online users appreciate useful content. This is the reason that above anything else, website content matters.

Content Is King But There Can Be Subordinates

While there is no doubt that content is king, it doesn’t mean that it is all content that a website needs. You may have already read that you should avoid graphics, animations, Java, etc. in the content because they make the web pages load slow. This is true but if you know how to use these elements properly, there is nothing to fear about the loading speed.

A web page with animation or graphics can’t be right away adaged as a bad page. Having graphics and animation on the page doesn’t mean the page will no longer receive site visitors or it will no longer rank high on the search engines. The fact is that when graphics and animations are used strategically and within the search engine parameters, the web page with them will still have chances of success.

The key is to know when to use graphics and animations on the page. Use them only when necessary and appropriate. Don’t use them just because you think they are delightful. Use them in relation to the website content. If there is a need to present a part of the content using animation, then do so. Remember though to cut down on the number of frames.

For websites offering web design services, having graphics and animations will be useful. How can they say that they can design a website effectively if their own website is too plain? In cases like this, graphics and animations will be appropriate.

Subordinates Don’t Rule Over The King

Don’t overuse graphics and animations in the website. Just because you know now that you can use them in the website, it doesn’t mean that you already have to compromise the content. Website content is still the king. Don’t overrule it with other elements like graphics and animations.

Just make sure that when you add these web design elements, they are still in relation to the content and that their purpose is to help the content be more attractive. Don’t prioritise them over the content.
