A quality website content is the primary attraction that catches the attention of major search engines. A website that enjoys quality web content is always deemed important and therefore, they are placed on a better position on search engines’ page results. What I refer to as “better position” is the top 10 of the search results.

Who would not want to be on the top? Every webmaster, website owner and online business owner crave for the top position of the search results. However, not all of them get what they crave for. Why? Because not all of them have relevant and quality website content. How about you? Does your website have quality content?

Does Your Site Have Quality Web Content?

How will you know if your website has relevant and quality web content? It is easy. Ask yourself these questions and you can rightly determine whether or not your site has quality content!

  • Do You Have Relevant Articles?

  • A website with relevant articles can rightly be classified as site with quality web content. If your website or online business is seasonal, create seasonal articles as well.

  • Does Your Web Content Solve Your Visitors Problems?

  • Quality web content is one that helps ease your site visitors or customers’ problems. It should attempt to provide solutions to their problems. Remember that visitors and online users visit the web to look for something informational and relevant. If your site content gives solutions to your site visitors’ problems, you are just giving them what they are actually looking for.

  • Does Your Site Contain Advices?

  • Having a portion on your site that contains relevant advices on your site’s field of expertise is an added advantage. It will be helpful to your site (since the search engines will identify your site as important and relevant) and to your site visitors (since they will benefit from the expert advices you will provide).

  • Does Your Site Include Historical and Comparative Information About Your Products?

  • It is a good practice in web content to include the history of your products in general or compare your products to other products of the same kind. It adds relevance to the content of your website. The information you provide can also be beneficial to other sites producing the same products as you. At times, other sites of the same field as you have will link to your website because of the relevant information you have.

  • Do You Offer Relevant Statistics in Your Site’s Web Content?

  • Another way to give your site a quality web content is by adding statistical figures that are related to your subject or field. However, remember to quote the source of the figures and other information if they are not from your own survey or statistical analysis.

If your answer to most of the questions is yes, congratulations, your site actually possesses quality web content. However, if your answer is no, read again and think about what you should do to convert your ordinary web content to a quality web content.

Websites with quality web content have a higher chance of being on the top of the search engines' page results. Does your site have quality web content? It’s easy to have, please see our CMS Service or apply for a Free Website Analysis.
