RSS marketing is a risky move but considering its advantages, it is worth it. RSS is a strategy that delivers constantly changing web content. It could refer to Rich Site Summary, Really Simple Syndication or RDF Site Summary. It is a type of web feed format designed especially for websites that contain frequently updated content.

RSS content uses feed readers or sometimes referred to as the aggregators. Its format is XML and the information it generates is an XML file oftentimes called in different names like RSS feed, webfeed or RSS stream.

There are only a few RSS users today because it is just at the growth stage. To ensure the success of your RSS campaign, remember two things. First, if you use RSS, you should have rich web content and second, you should define and target your audience. The second is very important since your audience will be in control.
