When searching for local businesses, you just have to voice out what you want to search for. Most of the time, the exact name of the local business you are looking for works best in the searches. However, if you can’t access the business using the exact name, you should try using categories. For instance, you are looking for a particular restaurant and the name of the restaurant isn’t recognized by the system, then just say “restaurant” or “French Restaurant” if the restaurant you are looking for falls in this category. After you get what you are looking for, Google will automatically dial the local business for you.

The Google Voice Local Search is indeed a great help. You don’t need a PC or an internet connection to search for local businesses. As easy as dialing the number, Google can connect you automatically to the business you are looking for. Let us just hope that this soon becomes available to other parts of the world.
