A web page may have a list of links. The colour of the links helps in navigation. Sometimes web designers just use a single colour for all the links, whether it is already visited or not. This makes navigation hard for online users since they can click on a previously visited link. As a solution, web designers should change the colour of the visited links.

• Pure Text



A web page with nothing on it but pure text is boring. No one will be interested to go over a page that is tiresome to read. The solution is to make the page more interesting and easy to read. This can be achieved through the use of highlights, bullets, short paragraphs and headings.

• Over Decoration



Just like a blunt page isn’t attractive, so is an over decorated one. Web pages with loads of banners, blinking advertisements and striking colours are least likely to be visited. They appear unprofessional. The solution is to keep the web pages attractive while maintaining its professional look.

• Use Of Browser Windows



Some web designers send site visitors to a new page when they click on a link. When an online user reaches the new page and wants to go back, he won’t be able to click on the back button. This may just send them away from the site at all. Originally, new browser window idea is to keep the site visitors on the site. So even if they click on a link, they will still have the site on one of their windows. However, some site visitors don’t appreciate having loads of new windows popping out on their screens.
